Unable to Access Beta Page

So I bought the "Creamy Crumb" Edition a few days ago, but I've been having problems accessing the page to play or download the game itself. Even while logged into the account I used to buy the game with I am constantly redirected to the 'Become a supporter' page, I checked the PayPal i used for the transaction and i have been billed, and even used the link in the email i got, but I'm still being linked to the same page.

Am I doing something wrong here?

Sorry for the order issues so far! I've just sent an email to your email address on file with more info. Hopefully, we can get this sorted out.

Hi,
first of all I'd like to say this looks like a very fun game so far. I was indirectly pointed to it by the Indie Stone forums, I gave it a look yesterday- and bought it nearly immediately.
Last night I was able to play the beta (in browser as I am using Linux/Gnu), however, as of today I have the exact same problems, if I log in to my account to play the beta I am always being redirected to the supporter page to buy the game.
I hope this can be sorted out.

Hi Vindelle_Pounze,

Glad to hear you liked it that much! And I apologize for the order issues. I've sent an email to the address you have setup in your account here, with further instructions. Hopefully we can get you back into the beta soon!

Hi Dan,
I reckon it would be nice to confirm the issue is solved for me though I didn't want to "spam" your email address. Thanks a lot and keep on the good work.
PS: I am looking forward to the downloadable Linux version, as far as I understand it is just a matter of time and all but confirmed, isn't it?

(first post in these forums:P, and yes i know what he means by being directed here from the indie stone forums. Someone brough it up and its great I even vouched for its amazingness.) Anyways hey I had some question regarding this and wanted to know if i bought the game would i just be able to log in anywhere, and save/load the same game on the computer without having to download the .exe? (I have already sent an email to Dcfedor, but would like to ask other players in the mean time.)

Hey Sylverlight and welcome to the site,

Yes you can save your game with the browser version. I don't know about being able to log in anywhere? I login here at this site if I choose to play the browser edition upon save it creates a save file for me. If I play the downloadable exe. version it will create a simmilar file in a "local" location for me. If I play on a friends machine it will stick the save file in the location on his machine and I would have to send it to a flash and get it that way. I don't know about Desura costomers though maybe they keep a save on thier servers, or in your profile, but I think that's unlikely honestly. Let me know if that helps at all. I'm sure Dcfedor will know exactly how it works but in the meantime this is what I know of.

Hey Sylverlight,

I got your email, and just sent off a reply. In case I forgot to answer these questions in the email:

You should be able to play the browser version from any computer by logging into the site. Save games are stored on each computer, however, so if you save a game on computer #1, it will not be available on computer #2, even if you log in.

Downloading the exe actually still saves games the same as the browser version: the save games are specific to each computer, unless you copy the save file from computer-to-computer manually.

Lastly, the Desura version saves games the same way as the bluebottlegames.com versions.

Hope this helps, and thanks again for the kind words!

I got the reply and thanks everyone for the help. Currently I mostly play in 2 of my classes as i have an amazing tech teacher which is so cool with everthing I even had a casual conversation with him while I had my phone in my hands and my earphones in. At the school we have a filter called I Boss im unsure if saving the game on the website will stay there the next day, but even if not as long as i can play the beta there just the same as the demo I will be fine. Thank you!

PS. Dcfedor i hope you saw my post before your post on the indiestoneforums i wasnt lieing!:D

Hey fmisiof,

Would you mind trying to login again, and accessing the beta page? I checked your order, and it actually looks like it completed ok, and the account status is updated with beta access. It looks like the payment processing had a pretty long delay, but it should be finished now.

Let me know if you're still having trouble. And thanks for your purchase!

I bought this game a few days ago, and I still can't access the beta. It looks like the payment went through, so I'm not sure what is going on?

Hi espenoss,

Sorry about the order issues. It looks like the order was interrupted at first, but eventually went through ok. The interruption might have caused a problem with the account update here.

I've adjusted your account manually, and you should be all set now. Let me know if you have any more trouble, and thanks for your patience!

Hello, I bought the game from the bundle edition and downloaded it. Then I made an account but I have no Idea how to access the beta page in order to download the new beta.

Hi Allman556,

I think Groupees updated their download link to include the latest beta. To check, you can look in the lower left corner of the game when playing, or under the logo on the title screen. The latest version number is 0.954b.

Also, your Groupees bundle should have included a key for Desura, which is kept up-to-date with the latest beta versions. If you download using the Desura client, it should update automatically when new builds are available. And if you download stand-alone versions, you'll have to re-download to get the latest beta.

Lastly, I am working on a way to link an account here from Desura, so you can access the beta from both Desura and here. I have a few technical hurdles to overcome first, but that should be online soon.

Hopefully, this answers your question. Let me know if you need anything else, and thanks for your purchase!
