Cold

Just looking for a simple mod that makes the overall game colder the entire game to add a little more difficulty to it for myself.

Cannibal Family Picnic

Hey! This is actually something that can easily be done yourself (I made a mod for this, but decided it was too simple to release). If you go into your data folder, then edit your gamevars file using notepad (or just a regular text program) you should see a bunch of stuff.
You'll want to find lines 87, 92, 97, 102, 107 and 112 (these are the only lines with number values). Once you find these, just adjust them to what you want. If you just want the mod version I'd be happy to send you an Email, but like I said, it's pretty easy.

Haha thanks i actually took a look into it myself and found out how to do it but had a question about 2 specific Vars,

nTempJulyVar
and
nTempJanVar

Cannibal Family Picnic

From what I can tell, these are just values for how much the temp can vary. If you wanted REALLY bad weather, you could set the Var rows to something ridiculous (like 50).

Yea well i just died of heat exhaustion in January so i think a little tweaking of those values may be needed XD

Edit it did it a second time this time i had zero clothing on and it was freezing out any previous experience with it?

When you first look at those rows in the gamevars they're usually below 20, setting them to something ridiculous (like I said) before you're ready to take on a frozen Michigan may be a bad idea. I'm currently playing a play through where my stats are as follows:

<table name="gamevars">
<column name="strName">nTempJanHigh</column>
<column name="strType">int</column>
<column name="strValue">10</column>

You'll see that I've given myself 5 extra starting points. This is mainly so that I don't die right away, but they aren't necessary if you make a bunch of fires and torches right away; the patient gown does very little for you, just head over to the forest near the cry facility and turn it into some quality torches after making a medium campfire. (an additional reason for the 5 points is that my current play through is on the monster modpack, and I wanted to test out some new skills)
