I think I may have seen this in Farcry 2, or maybe 3. I'm not sure how useful it would be, but I think it'd be badass.
Cauterization is very painful. The character would pass out and die.
The Science&Sorcery Mod
deal with nanobots. travel to the astral realm.
Not always...I had to Cauterize a wound after getting a deep wound which was caused by the sever slip of bushcraft blade (It was necessary because within Connaught the nearest hospital is a two hour drive)
The risk of infection however is very high and if your wound is too deep the risk of passing out is really high.
I don't believe it is a procedure that many individuals would survive alone and/or without antiseptic.
" The devil asked me how I knew my way around the halls of hell. I told him I need no map for I know the darkness well "
Most of the Neo Scavenger cuts are deep cuts ie dogman claws; meat cleavers; dog bites; etc...
I see you have a point although I don't know the threshold for pain tolerance that a human can muster.
I would love to know if there are any doctors nerdy enough to be on this website that could respond.
It would definitely cause severe pain, quite possibly a chance to pass out. I'm sure there would be a time and a place to use it safely. It wouldn't kill you, in itself at least. I guess one advantage could be that it isn't consumed, or at least not degraded entirely. A worst case scenario, but that's what I like about it.
I think it could be a good Idea....Possibly.....although there should also be a option to stitch/staple injuries.
P.S:I have never had a bleeding effect for more than three turns, is this normal or does this need to be nerfed.
I don't think that a cut would bleed constantly for more than 3 hours, if that happens to you, bad news.
Sorry I wasn't aware that each turn was an hour.
I really need to pay attention to game mechanics if that is the case .
