I could probably tweak the ISO files myself, but I am *not* good at that stuff, and there's the issue of adding the Extended NeoScav items also. Is it doable?

You see, NEO Scavenger is all about Detroit's second apocalypse.

If you didn't already know the answer, your subject line would have been much shorter. But just to try put this to rest...

As a quick search around will probably tell you, Chiko's Extended NeoScav mod changes way too much of the vanilla game to be compatible with other mods. Here's how to solve the problem:
a) Wait until Chiko stops updating (which wouldn't really be a good day in my book), then find a brave soul to make a compatibility mod.
b) Find a brave soul who will make a compatibility mod now, and then keep updating it every time the vanilla game and/or Extended NeoScav is updated (for reference: on average Chiko seems to be updating a few times a month atm).

And those two solution may also stumble on the extra problem that DnaJur who made the BigBadCheater hasn't been around in a few months, so that mod is already quite a few versions old, already missing vanilla items, and may start showing signs of age if it doesn't get eventually updated.

Btw, the above answer with a few name switches also works for anyone trying to combine the MmoD with Extended NeoScav. Just add a big pile of extra problems, like how impossible balancing would be or how to deal with the occasions where they both make similar changes to the actual gameplay.

P.S. Writing an essay on the subject line is generally not very helpful to anyone. Just saying. :)
P.S.2 No ISO, just xml, open it with notepad and take a look if you're feeling brave. ;)

well isn't the dev essentially done adding to the game and is just adding polish at this point? updating BBC to inlcude extended items would be asking alot. but once the work was done, if the same person kept up it wouldn't be so hard then. the bbc auther still pays attention to the forums though i sent him a pm the other day asking if i could update it but he says he's just been really busy

Glad to know DnaJur's still around. :) People get busy, that's normal, glad he's still around anyway. Yes, the dev is essentially done, but updates still happen, and occasionally they still mess with mods a tiny bit here and there. And even with all that out of the way, like you point out, we still need the brave soul who will put in the work of adding all the items and making the compatibility mod with Extended NeoScav, while working around Chiko's prolific updating schedule. ;)

so in short it's doable. i recommended you give it a try. i made a video today and posted it on this forum in modding talk about how to efficiently merge large mods into other large mods.

the merge itself is easy, but youll have to update the BBC and then expand it to include all items from neoscavengerextended.

the epansions will be the hardest part, but the update itself won't be a cake walk either. all in all the whole thing is not hard, if your familiar with modding this game. it is time consuming, no matter who you are though.
