Mod problems (SOLVED)

Before I start, I would like to state that I have no idea if this post even belongs here. Now as for the problem, I made a mod for myself that tweaked the game to my interests, but I can't get the game to run with it. When I try to start the game, it brings up the standard loading screen, but it stops at 74%, and the wall of text to the right ends with "Parsing item types. row 36". I've gone up and down the file but I can't tell what the problem is. I can send someone a copy of the file if that will help. Any help would be well appreciated.

Taking a wild guess here without you posting your file, but perhaps you're missing "0:" in your entries. Basically if you're trying to say, use vProperties "3", but do not have an entry for it in your .XML, it will cause the loading to hang (assuming you weren't editing your base directory .xml). What "0:" does, is make the game refer to the base neogame.xml for that "3" property, written as 0:3, would do just that. So bascially if you're calling for things from the base .xml, from your own .xml, you need to use that. One of the best examples for this would be the SampleModFolder's .xml.

could you zip up your getmods file and your mod and paste a link to it. if you have windows 8 you have a free 15GB cloud service that will let us see it if you put the zip there, right click on it and set to public and get a link
