Can we have actual real life drugs in the game?

Brew some of that Tannin Tea, makes you feel goooooood

5 Dollars for water!?

yah that I don't get....

water = 1$

clean water = 5$

tea that is clean and gives you an imunity bost = 1$

o.O

wait what?

Exactly my thoughts
Tea should cost at least 10$

Children's backpack full of bullets? I see nothing wrong in that.

IMO,their might be a few Problems concerning adding drugs to the game..
the Age rating of the game would be affected and the Usage of drugs in this game would Trigger Legal issues,if i am not wrong.
However using "Boosts" (a parody of Adrenaline or Steroids) might not be a problem though...

I don't know
Amphetime is actually medical drug
Same as MDMA
Problem comes when those are abused
And when it comes to abuse, people abuse morphine and cough syrup as well
So line between drugs and medicine is kinda blurry

Is drug use worse than murdering and eating people?

First of all, good point about the tannin tea value. I've adjusted that in the next build to be $11.50 each (since it acts as both pure water and immune system booster).

As for drugs, I suspect that by "real life drugs" you mean illegal substances? Things like marijuana, methamphetamine, and cocaine? I say that because hydrocodone and amoxicillin are both real life prescription drugs, and Cavillo is like Tylenol. Plus, whiskey is definitely a drug, as is Corn-a-cola (caffeine and sugar).

Technically, I think recreational and addictive drugs would make a lot of sense in NEO Scavenger. There's definitely a demand for the product in a world where some wish to forget it all. And economically, it would be an attractive and viable business for some.

That said, I haven't been in a terrible rush to add such things. Any more than, say, gasoline and vehicles, hotels, or reference books. All of the above would be welcome additions, I'm sure, I just haven't made them a priority.

As for the game's age rating (ESRB or PEGI), there isn't one yet, and I'm unsure if I'll seek one or not. Usually, packaged goods are required to have this in order for retailers to decide if they'll carry it on shelves. But over the internet, this is not a requirement.

And, as Malacodor points out, if I were to seek out a rating, drugs would hardly be the worst thing in the game. Desperate and lethal fights, graphic description of wounds, human trafficking, and cannibalism are all pretty near the maximum level of "not appropriate for kids."

Maybe adding in so that Botany can Identify Natural Drugs?
like Scavenging in forests brings a chance of finding Drugs (Leaves or something).it would be a rare item though! and you can only find it up north! (to fish players out of DMC)

Kids shouldn't play video games anyways lol. Na but in all seriousness this game would be recommended for mature audiences. Any younger and they would be playing Pokemon or something stupid like that.

And not to be ridiculed here, but in Colorado (where I'm from) it is legal to have that sticky icky.
