About the wraith and the necklace

I was just thinking about it, and realized something: If it is the necklace that protects the protagonist, how is is no one else in the world is being attacked by the wraith? They do not have that necklace, I have killed lots of characters and never found any in their loot.

There is a reason for that, I think. I've put that hidden under the spoiler button so that all that want to investigate this can do it on their own, a.k.a. Warning: Heavy spoiler ahead!

It is because the wraith is not a random monster killing people, but have a personal interest in player's character and wants to bring him to his doom for some reason.

Two proofs:

- If the player takes the Tracking skill, and uses it inside the Cryo Facility, he will find tracks suggesting that someone wearing long dress or a gown was tempering with his cryo-chamber and the nearby console not long before the chamber was opened. Later, when meeting the wraith he then confirms it could be it that left those tracks. So it is possible it was actually the wraith who released Philip form his sleep (and failed to finish him off because of either the amulet itself or the Dogman appearing and interrupting him).

- If the player has won the Hatter's respect by fixing his security equipment, grateful businessman will show him a footage of his actual client only to be surprised that the cameras did not actually filmed him and glitched his appearance into a black mass. Hatter says he looked like ordinary dude. My guess here is the wraith tried to send player to die in house at Seven Gables Road by assuming a human form to fool the Hatter but missed his secret security cameras that captured his true form.

If you love a flower, do not pick it up. For if you do, it will die and cease to be what you love. So if you love a flower, let it be. Love is about appreciation, not possesion.

Also, just a cool suggestion but maybe when you kill the wraith, have it just keep coming back. everytime you kill it, it doesnt "respawn" until a month has passed. then maybe implement some way to permantly kill the wraith by involving it in a plot device that reveals the wraiths intentions and stuff then you destroy some artifact or something and vanquish it forever! :D
