BBG PLS, Bring back the <click to take/drop> bar!

Bring back this option bar!!!

I don't know about you, but after learning about the click take/drop option it made the game so much faster for me!
Instead of dragging and dropping items from the ground to your inventory, you could just click the item you want and it would automatically put the item in your inventory. Not just inventory, it also worked for actions like in combat and looting buildings!

I just find it an extreme annoyance to have to drag all my actions/items now, so Blue Bottle Gaming please!!! Put back the option bar!

It did make it easier to move items around. But I suspect the item interface is still a work in progress.

Maybe Dan was planning to add something similar in later.

it an extreme annoyance to have to drag all my actions/items now

Now you can double click to move them fast.

Good to know, thanks.

I need it faster!!

I did read the keybindings, and still find it awful. There should at LEAST be an option to go back to the old way. Not taking jabs, but this new interface is TERRIBLE.

HOTKEYS should be used, if anything, in place of the old menu. By that I mean ctrl+click does one thing, shift+click does another, alt+click...etc. This 2xclick = quicktake was a very bad idea, mostly because the game's double click detection is so ridiculously under-sensitized. I will sit there for five to ten seconds struggling to double click an item fast enough to take it.

Also, when looting a place, I can't double click to quickselect more than one option. i.e., I can quickselect Hiding when looting, but I have to drag Stong if I want to use it in addition to Hiding.

PLEASE PLEASE bring back the old menu, at least as an option.

AND there's no click to consume...why did you even change it? It is currently unplayable for me.

Yeah, I also find myself clicking endlessly at an item at times; and not to mention the combat system! Here I was fighting a dogman, double clicking the parry command and alas, the command didnt go through, and I was mauled to death...such a sad end...

The one thing I'm missing most is the click to consume, so I don't have to right click *every single time* when I want to eat my stack of ketchup.

I do miss the hotbar and using 1-5 was awesome for quick inventory management, but I also see promise in the new system. I feel like the icon moving that has been done is a bit sloppy, but I'm sure it will be corrected. The new crafting system is great, except that I have worries about what would happen in the event where the amount of containers and items that are contained exceeds the crafting grid; what happens to items that aren't on the grid?

Guess I'll find out, I'm a double-backpacker all the way.

Edit: Just saw that there are tabs on the left side when crafting if items don't all fit in the grid allotted. Sweet deal!

Also, the double-click to take is a bit sluggish and unresponsive currently. Occasionally it takes a few tries for it to go through.

I, on the contrary, find the new "game controls" much more intuitive and clearer that the previous option bar. Moving items back and forth because I had option 1 instead of 2 selected or "whole stack" turned on because I was using it during previous scene was actually a bit annoying to me. New options are more... transparent now.

That being said, double-clicking really needs to be more responsive to work properly and to avoid annoyances. Right now slight mouse movement in-between cancels the first click so the mouse pointer needs to be perfectly still for that to work.

I can't double click to quickselect more than one option. i.e., I can quickselect Hiding when looting, but I have to drag Stong if I want to use it in addition to Hiding

that must be a bug mate, continuously using double-click works fine (if a little wonky) for me.

I agree that the new UI is a bit messy. The double-clicking is very difficult. I am rooting for whatever works. Wanting to consume items is silly with the right click on everything.
