Lost Bought game.

Hello! I use a Android, From the Google play store, and it's fully up to date, and I was force closing the app on a fight, due to I kept almost dying in said fight, after about the third force close of the app, it put me in the demo version, and I don't know how to get my purchase back. My apologies for trying to curcumvent the permadeath system, but I felt that I didn't really wish to die from the enemy due to I had lots of great gear.

Hi CeasarShadehill,

Sorry for the app activation issues. This seems to sometimes happen on Android, and I haven't figured out why yet.

There are a few things we can try, but it's usually best to first verify Google Play sees the order normally. The rest of these steps won't make a difference if the order is missing from the "History" page.

If you open Play Store on your device, tap the menu (three horizontal lines near "Google Play" search field), then scroll down to "Account" and tap that, there should be a section called "Order History."

If you don't see NEO Scavenger on that list, you'll have to log out of Play Store and log back in with the account that made the purchase.

If NEO Scavenger does appear in the order history, try performing the following steps (in this order):

1 - Verify that your wifi is enabled, and that you have internet access.
2 - Force-stop NEO Scavenger in your device's settings->manage apps.
3 - Shut down your device, then restart it.
4 - Launch NEO Scavenger.

Sometimes this is all that is required. But if you still see the "Full Version" button on the title screen, try tapping "Full Version." This should force the app to try and re-authorize on your device.

If that doesn't work, there may be a more serious issue. But let's see if any of the above helps first. Let me know!

Hey Dan! I checked my order history and I did have the game in bought history, and I also followed the steps you detailed out, and if I touch the buy full version, it just sits there and doesn't work, I've even when through and went to the border in the demo, and it still didn't change anything! I'm at a loss. And thank you a lot for all of the help.

After you do the wifi enabled, force-stop, shut down, restart, and launch NEO Scavenger, what happened when you tapped "Full Version?" Did it just freeze? Crash? Or something else?

Another thing we can try is to uninstall the game, clear the data and cache, and then re-install it. This link explains how to clear the data:

If you uninstall the app, clear both cache and storage for NEO Scavenger, then reinstall it, does it remember the purchase?

Heyo Dan! It just fixed randomly when I checked it out today, no clue what or why it did, but I won't complain! Thank you for all the help you have been with this amazing game. I'll make sure to report it if I have any more issues, Have a happy new Year's buddy!

Well, I'm a complete Liar to you Dan, the game let me play it for about a hour, them it suddenly stopped and restarted, and now I'm on the tutorial screen, and what hsppenes when I click the full version button is it registers the tap by the button pushing in animation, but it does nothing else. So I'll wait for you to say what I should try next.

Hm. It sounds a bit like the game crashing wipes the authorization on your phone. But I'm not sure why that would happen.

And the fact that reinstalling didn't work immediately, but eventually almost sounds like it won't recheck for authorization until some timeout period.

Can you send me an email at [email protected]? There may be something else we can try, but it requires some of your order info.
