It looks a bit like the game ran out of memory trying to load a music file, even though I think you weren't using that much RAM. But maybe there is a bug in the music code that tried to load the same music file multiple times?

It could be a performance/lag issue, yes. Especially with the NPCs pathfinding around the large station.

If you fast forward on the station, the pathfinding might happen more frequently, causing more lag?

It still shouldn't use more memory, though. It's mostly heavy on the CPU, not memory.

The one exception I can think of is if the game tries to load a large asset over and over, too quickly. I know we saw this once with a music file, but I haven't been able to reproduce that error since.

The AI is more complex than you might think, so it may be there's past memories affecting your crew, but it could also be a bug. I asked Dan and we think it might be that the crew are really pissed, but you only see it during normal commands, and the follow command is what's broken. If they're really angry maybe you shouldn't be able to command them to do anything haha
