Accounting, PR, and Worldbuilding
Hey Folks! Hope everyone had a good weekend. We were up in Victoria, BC for a few days for Rochelle's license exam. And while there, we stayed with Tobyn's family. Tobyn was my boss when I first joined BioWare, and was part of BW's "old guard." We stayed up late several nights in a row reminiscing and talking game design.
Oh, and feasting. Of course feasting :)
Back at work, the usual weekend catch-up was in play. I also needed to take stock of Blue Bottle Games's financials for the upcoming quarterly tax forms. And coincidentally, June might be a really good month! Like, it might almost make up for the negative income from the first part of the year! (Mostly due to the convergence of several summer sales/promotions at the same time.)
So that was a bit of a relief.
And on to actual work, I spent the rest of the afternoon reviewing Michael's (contract writer) latest work. We've been trading world-building research and ideas, and his latest batch included some history, political landscape, and cultural samples for a potential major power in the space game. We've also been chatting about the best way to formalize the work into deliverables.
So, today was more soft progress. No coding or anything. But tomorrow, I'll be testing out Tiago's new build process on my Mac. Wish me luck!

Why do you still make 32-bit apps? Don't wanna lose the Royal Navy as customer? :-b

Who's to say Apple won't cut support for 64-bit a year (or two) from now? When they introduce their 128-bit iOS line?
Also, imagine if Windows 10 didn't support 32-bit apps. How many games in your collection would that kill?

Zero, I don't intend to use this spyware OS anytime soon.

I guess I've already been under the microscope so many times, it doesn't mean anything anymore :)
