Saves Vanishing without death!

I'm using the steam version, Full game. V1.15 1/6/2017 and every time I save the game, then close out, to come back to later, it always says that the save does not exist. Now, mind you, When I save, I'm perfectly fine. Not in a battle, not worrying about dieing, usually in a typically safe spot like Detroit. But when I save the game to come back to later, the save file it claims, "No save Data Found" .

Occasionally when I play, I get a little Adobe Flash Player notification if it's okay to save, and I always click yes. For a bit, it used to be fine if I kept the game program running, but now it's just... The moment I save and exit, my save file doesn't exist evidently, and I have to start from scratch. I've got the latest Adobe Flash Player update, and even tried uninstalling and re-installing.

It's gotten to the point that I just can't progress unless I never save and keep the game running fully, not just on the title screen. I've already lost three good saves where I was well situated and had some great gear, (Thank the RNG gods for that,) and it's starting to become a major issue.

I like this game, Is there any way I can fix this so I can enjoy it properly?

If this were real... I would tame the feral dogs, and have an army of them. I would be unstoppable... Until a dogman came and ruined my sh~~... x.x

Hi Raayven,

I apologize for the save issues. NEO Scavenger uses a Flash engine, which saves files in a weird way. And unfortunately, some apps can occasionally interfere with that. (E.g. cookie cleaner and antivirus apps periodically deleting Flash files)

This post explains it a bit more, and some things you can try to protect the save files:

Especially the section "Why Do My Save Games Keep Disappearing?"

Let me know if that helps!

That seemed to have fixed it! Thank you!
